Prineville Home Sales Mixed

The Prineville Oregon real estate market appears to be showing good sales the first half of 2024. While home prices are up year over year, it is at what is considered a normal healthy market increase. New listings are up, but so are sold and pending homes. Prineville Home Prices Considered Affordable for Central Oregon

With the median home price for Bend at $780,000, having home prices just over $400,000 in Prineville can create opportunities for home buyers who cannot afford other areas in Central Oregon. Even Redmond, which has often been considered a more affordable option to Bend, has $550,000 for a median home price. And Prineville, the oldest town in Central Oregon and the county seat of the entire area for over 30 years until Jefferson and Deschutes County were established, has a great history.
