Bend Oregon Home SalesJust ask any real estate Broker in Bend how sales have been and they should tell you that Bend home sales remain strong. 2nd quarter statistics reflect continued optimism in the Bend real estate market with single family homes in contract up 8.6% from 2nd quarter 2015. When June 2015 is compared with June 2016, Bend homes in contract are up 24.4%. Home prices are also up - with active prices 13.6% higher than 2nd quarter 2015 and sold prices up 10.8% during the same period. The average sold price of a single family Bend home is now at $212 per square foot and we have only 2 months of inventory based on pending sales. The city of Bend is also months behind in processing building permits and new home construction cannot keep up with the demand.

Fort Rock Oregon General StoreLocated about an hour's drive south and east of Bend, Fort Rock, Oregon, is an interesting place to spend a day. Besides the fascinating geological formation of the Rock itself, the community has a wonderful collection of original homestead buildings and memorabilia which show what life for the people who lived here 100 years ago. 3 Sisters view from OverlookCentral Oregon is a mecca for outdoor enthusiasts from around the world. Bachelor Village retains the amenities and location which made it a popular Bend neighborhood from its inception.  Located in SW Bend off Century Drive, Mt. For example, as home and land prices continue to trend higher, we are starting to see more expensive homes enter into our top 10 most searched properties such as this $479,000 Broken Top condo or this 1657 Nw Mt Washington Drive, Bend priced at $439,750. However, as a general rule, most of the top searched properties are still at the low end with an average price of the other top searched homes just $248,500. Red doors in BendWhen you drive around Bend, have you noticed there are a lot of red front doors? Although for these homeowners the reasons might be aesthetic, around the world red doors actually have a lot of meaning.
