Around 6 months ago my husband and I had saved up a enough money to start looking for a home. I work in Health Care and I was told about the Homes for Heroes program and an affiliate by the name of Jacque Roberts. This organization recognizes Heroes, first responders, health care workers, education, military and veterans
We contacted Jacque and registered for Homes for Heroes. Jacque immediately contacted us! She explained the importance of getting pre-qualified. That was our first step and was no hassle at all! We then started the process of looking for homes. Jacque scheduled appointments for us, working around our work schedules and our baby girls naps! Jacque educated us on the process, inspections, appraisals, credit reports etc.
We found the home we wanted to make an offer on, submitted our offer, it was approved, closed in 40 days, and we received our Homes for Heroes check of 1260.00 within 10 days!
The process was fun, educational. Jacque's communication was great!
